The objective of this project was to determine to difficulty of creating a general purpose MCU based on the Raspberry Pi Foundations RP2040 micro controller.  I didn't want just a straight clone of an existing MCU, I also wanted to change a couple of things like replacing the micro USB connector with a USB-C connector.
